Invisalign clear aligners

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually and gently guide your teeth into a straighter position – without the visible metal wires and brackets of traditional braces. Each set of aligners is worn for a couple of weeks before moving on to the next in the series, gradually bringing your smile to where you want it to be.

Because the aligners are removable, you can take them out to eat, drink and brush your teeth as normal, which many patients find fits far more easily around everyday life. They are also virtually invisible when worn, making Invisalign a popular choice for adults who want to straighten their teeth discreetly.

We will begin with a full consultation to assess whether Invisalign is a suitable option for you. We will then offer you the opportunity for a full orthodontic assessment, including detailed record-taking such as intra- and extraoral photographs, dental impressions or scans and X-rays, before talking you through the likely treatment time and cost so you can decide with confidence.

Fixed braces

Fixed braces use brackets bonded to the teeth and connected by a fine wire, which is gradually adjusted over time to move the teeth into a straighter, better-aligned position. They remain one of the most effective and reliable ways to correct a wide range of alignment and bite issues, for both teenagers and adults.

Because fixed braces are not removable, they work continuously, which can make treatment time more predictable. We take great care to make sure braces are fitted comfortably, and we will see you regularly throughout treatment to adjust and monitor your progress, answering any questions along the way.
